Attendance
1. Students are required to attend all lectures, classes and tests/exams and to submit written work as required by lecturers and tutors & their attendance will be recorded daily using a biometric device. Normal study hours will be minimum of 15 hours per week. 2. The Director reserves the right to expel a student if he/she does not fulfill the above requirements, or for behaviour disruptive to the general conduct of the College.3. In accordance with the College's 'Keeping of Term Regulations', longer absences require explicit permission from the Principal, which is requested by filling out the Absence Form available from the Front Office. The absence should be supported by a valid medical certificate or proof of emergency travel abroad in either case the total absence should not be more than 20%.
4. Receiving College permission does not remove students' responsibility to secure departmental agreement; the College will not permit anyone to miss lectures, seminars or assignment deadlines unless departmental agreement is first secured.
5. Students are informed of their long absence and a final warning letter is issued at their 4th week absence and Immigration authorities are notified after 6 weeks continue absence.
Fee Refund Policy
1. Normally, all fees are payable in advance * Attendance at classes can only be allowed when the fee has been paid, or an application has been made to pay by instalments or for its remission. * Students whose fees are to be paid by the Local Education Authority, employer or other body direct to the College must produce written evidence of this at enrolment (or earlier).
2. Students whose fees remain unpaid may be denied access to the College facilities, and the College reserves the right to withhold examination results, until payment is made.
3. Fees are strictly non-refundable except where notification is received from the UK authorities that the student has been refused entry into this country. In this case, all fees paid less £500 are refundable.
4. Completion of the College application form is a binding agreement to follow the course and to pay the full fee.
5. All tuition fees must be paid in full at the time of enrolment. All tuition fees not paid by then will be subjected to a surcharge of 8% of outstanding fees.
6. If a student visa is refused for some mistake by the student i.e insufficent funds,wrong or insufficient documents, incomplete application or failure in english language test then the total fee will not be refunded.
7. If the visa officer allows the applicant the right of appeal or grant a resubmission of the application. Then the student must exhaust all opportunities for resubmission of visa application.
8. The following documents are required when requesting a refund in the event of a visa refusal:
- Original visa refusal letter
- Original college registration letter and acknowledgement letter of fees paid
- Refund request letter signed by student confirming name, address, telephone no. and bank details of person to whom the refund will be made.
